Rev. Arriana had a heart for Youth and Teens and had served for over 25 years in ministry to this group of young people. While at Tabernacle she had established the 2nd Sunday in June each year as Youth Day. On Youth Day, Rev. Arriana made sure all Youth and Teens were recognized for outstanding achievement in their schools, communities, and the Church.  She gave cash awards to every child or adult graduating to their next level of education and she funded this project from her own personal funds.

Rev. Arriana lost her battle to Cancer on October 23, 2017 after a brief period of remission.  She was married to Deacon Mitch Daniel and they were the proud parents of Christopher Alexander Daniel and Sydney Michelle Daniel.

It is in her honor and to carry out the work she began that this Scholarship Fund was created and continues. The first Scholarships were given out in June 2018 to 2 college bound students in the amounts of $500 and $1,000.  In 2019 the Scholarship Fund gave out more than $3000 to college bound students as well as a $500 Stipend to assist one of our first recipients from 2018 to continue her education.

Arriana Mills Daniel, a woman of God, preacher, teacher, entrepreneur, wife and mother - committed to serving the Lord and committed to encouraging and helping young people to be all God created them to be and to be persistent in their pursuit of higher education. Rev. Arriana was an honor graduate of Avondale High School, received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and held a M.S. Degree in Human Resources Management. For 10 years she served as Dean of the Business School at Atlanta Metropolitan College in Atlanta, Ga.  Additionally, Rev. Arriana was Founder and CEO of 2 businesses that she started and operated – “Fashions by Nichelle” and  “Emerging Visions Consulting, Inc.
