Our Church History

In June of 2002 God gave our Pastor the vision to establish Faith In Action Now Ministries. Under the umbrella of Faith in Action Now Ministries a women’s bible study was birthed as well as a counseling ministry and     leadership training ministry. The Women’s Bible Study, entitled “Sista 2 Sista”, met on Saturday evenings at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia.

In January of 2004 God gave Pastor the vision to expand ministry into a church. In December 2004, God gave Pastor the name of the church, Tabernacle of Faith Christian Church. From January through June of 2005 God gave Pastor specific instructions for establishing the church.

On Wednesday, September 14, 2005, Tabernacle of Faith Christian Church (TFCC) opened its doors and held its first Church service at 2480 Columbia Drive, Decatur, Georgia. Our Wednesday night services were entitled “Mid-week Manna”.

Our first member was Bro. Ervin E. Mills who joined on Wednesday, September 21, 2005.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2005, TFCC established a covenant relationship with partners who resolved by their signature to support the establishment and work of this ministry, this Church and this Pastor. Those who signed as covenant partners with TFCC were:

On January 22, 2006 TFCC conducted its first Baptism Service at our sister church, Love Life Christian Fellowship Church in Ellenwood, Georgia. Three candidates were Baptized – Micayla Cooper, Priest Foust IV and Paul Foust. On August 27, 2006 TFCC held its second Baptism Service. The candidates were – Andrea Romaine, Jarrell Brown, Zahara Nixon and Brianna Adams.

On January 22, 2006 TFCC conducted its first Baptism Service at our sister church, Love Life Christian Fellowship Church in Ellenwood, Georgia.  

On Sunday, April 17, 2011, TFCC held our 1st church service in our new location 2999 Flat Shoals Rd. Decatur, GA 30034. We look forward to God’s
continued blessings upon our church.

Since our establishment, God has birthed the following ministries: Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Outreach Ministry, Hospitality Ministry, Youth Choir, Youth Ushers, Adult Ushers, Music Ministry, Adult Choir, Budget & Finance Ministry, Pastor's Aide Ministry, Mass Media Ministry, Prison Ministry, Trustees, and Associate Ministers.
